Loved loved loved THE TOWER, THE ZOO AND THE TORTOISE. Very charming read. Other favorites were THE DISTANT HOURS by Kate Morton, MATTERHORN by Karl Marlantes and ROOM by Emma Donoghue.

Loved MAJOR PETTIGREW. Also loved THE INVISIBLE BRIDGE – great sprawling read. Am eagerly awaiting THE DISTANT HOURS.

For me it was Still Missing by Chevy Stevens and Room by Emma Donoghue–they feel like two sides of the same coin in many ways.
