The movie of Daniel Woodrell’s Winter’s Bone opened in a limited number of theaters on Friday, after making a splash at the Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year. Critics are enthralled, from the NYT to the LA Times and David Edelstein on CBS Sunday Morning.
The movie tie-in rose to #55 on Amazon over the weekend.
