Arnold is against the idea that people need to be dominating “alphas” to their dogs; “they try so hard to please us that I find it very sad that we would ever use anything other than kindness to work with them.”

Her book, Through a Dog’s Eyes, rose to #165 on Amazon’s sales rankings, from #6,547.
